Woven Straps Tutorial - Weaving kit - Funem x TunkiCrafts

We co-created a lovely collection of handwoven straps together with Blanca de la Sotilla from @tunkicrafts.

Learn how to make a set of beautiful multi-uses straps made with our Colored Cotton Warp Thread that will be used as warp and weft. Choose your design and size and you are ready to follow our step by step pattern.

Your handwoven straps can be used in so many ways: as a bookmark, bracelet, garment decoration, hat decoration, key holder or whatever goes through your mind!

Each finished strip measures about 4 cm / 1.5” wide. The length depends on whether you are using clamps or not to weave longer than the frame.

Difficulty: beginner

The kit contains:
- Weaving Loom - Small 
- Metal Clamps (optional but recommended depending on the size of straps you want to make)
- Tool set which includes: a comb, a metal needle and a wooden needle
- 2 cones of Cotton Warp Threads of your choice
