Linen yarn is spun from the long fibers found just behind the bark in the multi-layer stem of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). Linen is stronger than cotton, dries more quickly, and is more slowly affected by exposure to sunlight. This yarn is not dyed or bleached and spun by hand.
Each skein weighs 100 grams and measures approx. 46 meters (50 yd) in length.
