Natural Hemp Yarn

Hemp fibers are obtained from the bast of the Cannabis Sativa plant. They are naturally anti-bacterial and resistant to mold. Hemp grows well without the need for chemicals which makes it an ideal alternative to cotton. In addition, hemp has a deep root system that helps to prevent soil erosion and aerates the soil to the benefit of future crops. Hemp is an extremely eco-friendly resource. This yarn is unbleached and spun by hand.

Each skein weighs 100 grams and measures approx. 182 meters in length
